• Guest Speaker: Ron Musch, Chief Program Officer at Hale Kipa

Ron Musch is the Chief Program Officer at Hale Kipa. He has over four decades of international experience in non-profit and government agencies. Because his passion is other-focused, he uses his skillset as a leader, mentor, and coach to help others. His service to others began in 1978 as a founding crew member of Mercy Ships, a non-profit bringing medical relief to the needy. Since 1999 he co-founded two non-profits and was the Director of Constituent Services to 450,000 people for CA Assembly District 14 and 16. During this time he also worked to bridge the local government and faith community to address challenges including foster care, the unhoused population, and the prevention of recidivism. His work in Europe, Asia, Africa, the South Pacific, and the US forged his deep appreciation for the world's different cultures and people.

Help us end Polio! Our club is hosting a fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) on Wednesday, October 8th. Remember to provide our club name and the code BACK20% to ensure 20% of your bill goes toward our cause. See the attached flyer for more information.

We will be gathering for dinner at 6 p.m. at the Ka Makana Ali'i location, and we encourage you to bring your family, friends, and colleagues to help us make a significant impact. Mahalo for your support!

RC Ewa Beach is helping out at Ewa Beach Elementary's campus beautification day on Saturday, October 25th from 9am to 12 noon. The club has signed up to paint the stairs and help with landscaping. Please bring your own gloves, painting apron and gardening equipment.

Our club will have a booth at this event promoting Rotary and bike safety. Looking for volunteers for two shifts: 9am to noon and noon to 3pm.

Please help us respond by bringing canned goods and non-perishable food items to the meeting for local distribution.
